A way to meet other Victorian and Melbourne people interested in free software.
While there are plenty of free software interest groups around the world, this one was started specifically for those in Victoria and Melbourne. This gives allows discussion of local issues relating to free software. An example of such an issue is that our national broadcaster, the ABC, currently publishes its downloadable audio and video in proprietary or patent-restricted formats.
We run a small mailing list, so please join up and say hi.
